Esther is a wildly entertaining story about How God moves on the stage of history to enact His plan of rescue, redemption, and reversal. It's a story of God is moving pieces on the chessboard even when we cannot see the strategy, and He is multiple moves ahead. On the surface, this is a story about surviving when you are powerless against the plots of those who have all the power. And yet, the machinations and plans of evil are reversed by the moves of Divine Providence.
